Samantha is a proud Pineville and Central Louisiana resident who believes deeply in the strength, resilience, and the potential of our community. Pineville isn’t just where she lives — it’s home. She has called this community home for over 25 years. Pineville is known safety, connection, and a strong sense of belonging, and those values continue to shape who she is today.
As a wife and parent, Samantha wants her children — and every child in Pineville — to grow up in a community where families feel safe, supported, and proud to put down roots. Her commitment reaches beyond any one neighborhood or district. She cares deeply about all of Pineville — every family, every street, and every opportunity to make the city stronger.
She also volunteers with local nonprofit organizations focused on diversity and inclusion, serving those experiencing homelessness, feeding the hungry, and supporting foster children and families. Samantha and her family are actively involved in their church home, First Christian Church, where her faith continues to shape her heart for service and community.
Samantha graduated from Louisiana College with her associate’s degree and practiced as a licensed physical therapist assistant for 10 years. That experience deepened her understanding that true leadership begins with faith — a faith that calls us to lead with empathy, compassion, and a heart for service. It means seeing people not as issues to solve, but as neighbors to love. It means listening with humility, honoring every voice as worthy of dignity, and making decisions rooted in care for families and stewardship of our community. Leadership, at its core, is about serving others well.
Also, a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Samantha holds an MBA with a focus in Human Resources and brings experience across the healthcare and oil & gas industries in workforce development, talent strategy, and business growth. She understands that strong organizations are built through thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and investment in people. Samantha believes those same principles apply to building a thriving city — supporting small businesses, creating meaningful job opportunities, and ensuring sustainable growth that benefits everyone.
